Reformed
We are committed to the Reformation truths found in God's word which are the basis of our fellowship with Him:
Sola Scriptura
Scripture alone is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice.
Sola Fide
Our justification before God is by faith alone, without works or human merit.
Sola Gratia
Our salvation comes by the grace of God alone.
Solus Christus
Jesus Christ is the sole mediator between God and man, as his sacrifice is alone sufficient for salvation.
Soli Deo Gloria
All of creation and life exist for the glory of God alone.
Confessional
We are a confessional baptist church, meaning that we hold to the historic Reformed Baptist confession of faith, the 2nd London Baptist Confession of Faith, adopted in 1689 by Particular Baptist churches across London, England.
This confession is the fullest expression of our faith. It is the teaching standard for the congregation as a whole and all officers of the church fully subscribe to its doctrine as a faithful exposition of the doctrine of Scripture.
Baptist
We are baptists because Scripture teaches us that our churches are to be filled with Christians who have been brought from spiritual death to life.
We are to make disciples of the nations, but also to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. As such, membership is for Christians who have professed faith in Christ both audibly and through the waters of baptism.
Further, we believe that Christ holds each church accountable for its worship, officers, and all other actions directly, without the intermediary of higher church courts or other inventions of man.
